What Is The Clean Install?

The Clean Install is a complete TV mounting package that includes three things:

1. Professional TV wall mounting — stud-anchored, perfectly level, any TV size
2. Hidden in-wall power outlet — we install a low-voltage outlet directly behind your TV so power runs inside the wall, not down the face of it
3. Complete cord concealment — all cables routed inside the wall through a low-voltage channel with brush plates at both the TV and the outlet below

The result: a TV that appears to float on the wall with absolutely zero visible wires. It looks like it came straight from a showroom or a luxury hotel room.

How The Clean Install Works

Here's what happens during a Clean Install appointment:

1. We locate studs and mark the optimal TV position
2. We mount the TV bracket securely into studs
3. We cut a precise opening behind the TV location and install a low-voltage outlet box
4. We run a power extension kit through the wall — this is code-compliant and specifically designed for in-wall use
5. We install a second low-voltage outlet plate below the TV at baseboard level — this is where your TV's power cord plugs in at the wall
6. We run all your cables — HDMI, streaming device power, soundbar cables — through the same in-wall channel
7. We hang your TV and connect everything
8. You see zero wires. Nothing. The TV sits on the wall like it was always there.

Start to finish, a Clean Install takes about 60-90 minutes for a single TV.

Is The Clean Install Safe?

Yes — when done correctly with the right components. We use only code-compliant in-wall power extension kits that are specifically rated and approved for use inside walls. We do not run standard extension cords inside walls — that's a fire hazard and a code violation. Every Clean Install we do uses proper low-voltage in-wall rated components.

The Clean Install vs. Surface Raceway

Some homeowners aren't able to do a full in-wall Clean Install — typically renters who can't modify the walls, or homes with masonry or tile walls where in-wall wiring is more complex. In those cases, we offer a surface raceway at $5/ft — a slim channel that runs along the wall surface and hides cables. It looks dramatically cleaner than loose cables, though not quite as seamless as the full Clean Install.
